2023 Met Gala live updates: Priyanka chooses black and white, while Rihanna and Alia Bhatt appear to be brides.
Updates from the Met Gala 2023: On the red carpet of New York’s biggest fashion event, Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra are present along with Nick Jonas.
The Met Gala 2023 red (white red, red, and blue) carpet is set up at the New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. The theme for this year honoured the late fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld. Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Billie Eilish, Kendall Jenner, Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Lily-Rose Depp from Blackpink, Rose and Jennie from Blackpink, and many others were present.
In addition to the net veil, Jennifer Lopez donned a black top and a white skirt to the MET Gala.

To further show off her white gown and growing baby bulge, Rihanna took off her headscarf after arriving in the flower-themed dress.
The MET Gala was attended by Rihanna and ASAP Rocky. The performer, who is expecting her second child, showed up wearing a large white gown that wrapped her in white flowers from head to waist.
“Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty, Met Gala. The famous Chanel brides have long captivated me. Karl Lagerfeld’s creative brilliance was evident in the most avant-garde and breathtaking couture season after season. This, in particular the 1992 Chanel bridal ensemble worn by supermodel Claudia Schiffer, served as the inspiration for my outfit tonight. I wanted to create something that was proudly manufactured in India and felt authentic (hello, pearls!). 100,000 pearls were used to create the needlework, a labour of love by @prabalgurung. I feel very accomplished wearing you to my first Met.
In addition to the appropriate accessories to complete the appearance, in our instance a pearl bow on my hair, Alia said in her post that a girl can never have too many pearls.
