6th Annual Sports Day in St.Xavier’s School

CredentTv: St.Xavier’s School ,Nevta witnessed an enthralling 6th Annual Sports Day with a great grandeur. Brigadier Ranjith K. Nair,Commandant, Military Hospital Jaipur graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event showcased various mesmerizing programmes wherein more than 2000 students participated zealously. March Past by all the four Houses grabbed the attention of everyone. The audience watched the students of the parade beaming with pride and confidence. Presentations such as ‘Dazzling Xavierite’, ‘Lotus Drill’ won spectators’ heart. To emphasize the advantage of fitness, students presented Zumba, a blend of Latin dance with uplift fast music. The flexibility and synchronisation of the students won many accolades. Yoga including various aasanas performed by the students left the audience spellbound. Track events such as Flag race, Bag Pack race, Clean the Nature Race, Parents race etc proved to be extremely thrilling.
The chief guest congratulated and emboldened the students for the surreal performance by everyone and emphasized the importance of sports in everyone’s life.
Rev. Father Sangeeth Raj S.J, Principal,St.Xavier’s School Nevta, rendered the Welcome Speech. He also made an appeal to the parents to allow their children to spend significant time for sports to accelerate the holistic growth.
The programme concluded with the award ceremony for various events. The Best Sports person award was bagged by Ruchika Choudhary of Class XII… The Best Disciplined House was grabbed by the Reds while the Best House (All Over Sports) was awarded to the Blues.
