Nepal plane crash –
According to a government-appointed team looking into the disaster, an airplane that crashed in Nepal last month and killed all 71 people on board had no thrust action in its engines during the final leg of its descent.
One of Nepal’s greatest aviation disasters in the past 30 years occurred on January 15 as the jet was about to land in the tourist city of Pokhara.
The twin-engine ATR 72 aircraft, flown by Nepal’s Yeti Airlines, carried 72 passengers, including two infants, four crew members, and 10 foreign nationals. One unaccounted individual is assumed to have died after 71 bodies were found by rescuers.

The propellers of both engines entered “feather in the base leg of falling,” according to the panel’s analysis of the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder.
Propellers’ feathering suggested the engine had “no thrust,” or was not producing any power, according to aviation expert K.B. Limbu.
