In the late 1990s, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and superstar Akshay Kumar were rumoured to be dating seriously.

kshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon’s fans were in for a huge surprise as the two exes reunited at a fashion event which took place on Sunday in Mumbai. Akshay and Raveena sent their fans into a frenzy after multiple videos of them sitting together and sharing a hug went viral on social media.

When Akshay Kumar won the Style Hall of Fame – Male award at HT India’s Most Stylish 2023, Raveena Tandon was there as well. He received the honour from Raveena. On stage, the pair also engaged in a rapid-fire game. Riteish Deshmukh, the host, asked Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon to identify the 1990s version of Malaika Arora. At first, Raveena claimed that Malaika is “incomparable”. She later adopted Shilpa Shetty’s name, nevertheless. Shilpa, interestingly enough, was also there.

Relatively lately, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s ex-girlfriend Raveena Tandon opened up about their previous union. The actress admitted that during that time, she entirely shunned reading anything that was written about her in the media.

After appearing together in the 1994 blockbuster movie Mohra, Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar reportedly started dating in 1995. They got engaged in the late 1990s, claims Raveena. Later, they decided to part ways. Raveena was questioned by ANI about her “broken engagement” with Akshay.

“It comes up, and it comes up like there’s a war between everyone whom he’s involved with,” she said in a podcast with ANI. Hello, once I left his company, I started dating someone else, and he had already started dating someone else. Where does envy arise from?

Raveena claimed to have “forgotten” the precise day of her engagement to Akshay. “During Mohra, we were a hit duo, and even today, whenever we run into each other socially, we all meet and converse. Everyone advances. College girls swap boyfriends every week, but for some reason, the memory of one broken engagement is still fresh in my mind. What’s the big deal? Everyone moves on after being divorced, she said.
