The Kapil Sharma Show: Did you know Ashutosh Rana slapped Rajkummar Rao for real? Rana said, ‘I didn’t want to slap him but Raj told me, sir slap me’

The recent episode of The Kapil Sharma Show hosted Ashutosh Rana, Rajkummar Rao, Dia Mirza, Bhumi Pednekar, Kritika Kamra and director Anubhav Sinha. Kapil introduces the celebrities and inquires as to whether they initially worked as background artists for the industry. Rajkummar acknowledged that he had participated in several adverts when he was one of the crowd as well as other projects.

Bhumi claimed that her initial project was a significant one. Dia stepped in and said that she had performed as a background dancer in a song and that the money she received from that job went towards creating her first portfolio.

Dia commends Kapil and his programme for being plastic- and waste-free and environmentally beneficial. She described the throng from her perspective and stated, “With Salman, we were filming a song in Rajasthan, and as we were leaving the set, 500 people gathered and started running after our car. They undoubtedly desired to show their love, but the manner in which they did so was improper.”

Kapil asked Anubhav that in the age of transforming old films into colour, he made a black and white. Anubhav remarked, “Our team, we were working in Alibaug and I suddenly decided that we should turn the film black and white. Whoa was the most common response from them. We decided to make the movie black and white after I approached the marketing person and he gave his OK.”

When Ashutosh Rana was asked by Kapil to talk about working on the movie, he revealed, “As a seasoned actor working on this movie, I had the impression that the absolutely unseen epidemic Corona was so potent that it caused people to look into the cosmos. It also halted the footfall in the houses, or boxes, as they are known. It was a significant struggle, and difficulties are never enjoyable. Either black or white apply. In a similar manner, this movie also showed us situations that brought back memories of the trying period during Corona.”

The answer offered by Ashutosh captivated the crowd, the celebrities, and even Kapil. He was dubbed the word magician by Kapil. Rajkummar was then questioned by Kapil regarding the stressful sequence in the movie where Ashutosh Rana had to slap him. Rajkummar admitted that the slap had actually occurred.

The story was then stated by Ashutosh “Raj told me emphatically that sir slapped me despite the fact that I didn’t want to slap him. Anubhav responded, “If he is saying slap me then do it,” after I continued saying no. That is how the incident took place.”

Rajkummar added that working with Anubhav Sinha is similar to experiencing because after seven hours of work, he summons in the best chats from Lucknow, and for the next three hours, everyone has a party. The actresses all concur that during filming, they enjoyed the local cuisine in Lucknow.

Dia joked that she is still seeking payment from her first two projects with Anubhav Sinha when Kapil inquired about collaborating with him. Anubhav went on to say that he didn’t want her to perform Dus but she wouldn’t listen to him. On addressing the movies, Anubhav said, “Today’s audience frequently discusses the box office, the ratings, and the collection. Does anyone aware that Tum Bin was taken from the screens after only one week? Nonetheless, the success of art frequently shows after a while.

The movies that accompanied Tum Bin aren’t well-remembered, but the movie itself is still spoken about and honoured even after 21 years.”

He went on to say, “Stop discussing the collection and assigning such grades. Instead, enjoy the movie. Purity comes from the receiving and execution ends of art and cinema.”
Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, according to Dia, was first considered a flop before becoming a cult classic. As soon as Kapil starts singing, the audience breaks out into an unplanned jam session to honour Dia Mirza and the movie. Dia joins them and sings together.
