ATHLETICS MEET AT RBMHS

Jaipur | 28 Nov., Students of RBMHS kept the sports flame ablaze with their astounding display in the various events during the Annual Athletics Meet 2014-15 held in the school from 26 to 28 November. The meet was declared open by the Principal, Mrs. Anjana Kumar after a spectacular display of march-past by the houses and oath taking ceremony. This was followed by the torch relay by the Games and Sports Captains and the Sports flame was lit.

A no. of events followed over the next three days to test the athletes’ speed, stamina, resilience & strength. The races, long jump, shot put, javelin throw and the demonstration of yoga, aerobics & martial arts amply demonstrated the students’ perfection.

All the houses cheered for their favourite athletes creating an ambience of healthy competition. Board of Governors Mr. Goenka and Dr. P. Ghosh gave away the prizes. The Athletic Meet concluded with the Beating Retreat and the National Anthem.
