Basant Panchami festival celebrated at DAV Centenary Public School

Credent Tv: The festival of Basant Panchami, which marks the end of winter and the onset of spring, is celebrated on January 25 on school premises. This day is considered to be the birthday of Goddess Saraswati, as she is said to have appeared on earth to eradicate the sadness of all living beings.

celebrated this special day with great fervor. Keeping the tradition of inculcating values in today’s modern times The children devotionally rendered “Saraswati Vandana” as they implored the goddess to bestow the gift of knowledge and wisdom on them and all those associated with the institution. Various class-wise activities were organized in which students participated with zeal and enthusiasm.

Principal Sri A. K. Sharma also elaborated on the significance of Basant Panchami and its association with the yellow color, the blooming of mustard flowers, and the arrival of spring.
