BIZARRE! India vs South Africa 2nd T20I stopped due to SNAKE

The second match of the three-match T20 series was played between India and South Africa at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. In this match, South African captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and decided to bowl first. During the Indian innings, when Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were batting, the game came to a halt for a few minutes at the start of the eighth over. The game was stopped due to the snake coming on the field.

Actually, Keshav Maharaj came to bowl at the beginning of the eighth over. However, before the start of the over, some South African players ran to the onfield umpire and told him that there was a snake in the field. After this the ground staff was called on the field. They reached the ground with all the necessary equipment and took away the snake. The match was halted for about five minutes. Till then the players got an unofficial drink break.

Talking about the second T20, batting first, Team India got off to a great start. Rahul and Rohit added 96 runs for the first wicket. Rohit missed the half-century and scored 43 runs and was caught by Keshav Maharaj. At the same time, KL Rahul scored his 20th fifty of T20 International career. He was dismissed albw on the ball of Maharaj after scoring 57 runs in 28 balls. India made a huge score of 237 runs in this match. In response, South Africa’s team could only score 221 runs despite Miller’s century and India won the match by 16 runs.

India have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. In the first match played at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, Team India won by eight wickets. KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav together led Team India to victory. After this, in the second match, Lokesh Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli did wonders in batting. Arshdeep Singh bowled well in the powerplay with the ball.
