BYD, the world’s leading new energy vehicle manufacturer, has launched India’s first sporty born E-SUV, a premium electric SUV, the BYD-ATTO 3. This is BYD’s official entry into the Indian passenger vehicle market with its brand mission of “Technological Innovation for a Better Life”.

Equipped with an ultra-safe Blade battery and Bourne EV platform (e-Platform 3.0), the BYD-ATTO 3 features fast charging from 0% to 80% within 50 minutes, with a range of 521 km as per ARAI’s tests. It also boasts of a higher battery capacity of 60.48 kWh and an acceleration time of 0-100km/h in 7.3s. The BYD-ATTO 3 is the first model built in India on e-Platform 3.0, designed for the next generation of pure electric vehicles with blade batteries, 8-in-1 electric powertrains, and highly integrated domain controllers. The platform is the world’s first 8-in-1 electric powertrain (with integrated drive motor, motor controller, reducer, onboard charger, DC converter, high-voltage distribution box, vehicle controller and battery management system (BMS)) resulting in size This results in an overall 20% reduction in weight and a 15% reduction in weight and which allows for an overall efficiency increase of over 89%.
