Sri Lanka and Pakistan are playing their second Test match of the series in Colombo. Pakistan began the third day of the contest with a score of 145/2
Pakistan has 563 runs at the end of the third day after losing 5 wickets. After scoring 132 runs and adding 37 runs from Mohammad Rizwan, Agha Salman continued to be unbeaten.
On the first day, Sri Lanka had 166 runs in the first innings. Pakistan has a 397 run advantage. Abdullah Shafiq, a Pakistani batsman, reached two centuries on the third day.
Shafiq’s two-hundred percent
Pakistan had a score of 145/2 when the game began. The innings was led by Babar Azam and Abdullah Shafiq. After scoring 39 runs, Babar was thrown out. Following him, Saud Shakeel played a 57-run inning. Due to a concussion, Sarfaraz had to retire after 14 runs. Mohammad Rizwan replaced him. Shafiq was removed after 201 runs were scored. Mohammad Rizwan and Agha Salman both have unbeaten totals of 132 and 37 runs, respectively.

Sri Lankan bowlers Asitha Fernando and Prabhat Jayasuriya each claimed three wickets.
Due to a concussion, Sarfaraz is unavailable.
On the third day of the match, Pakistan’s wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed was declared concussion-free and out of the lineup. Mohammad Rizwan replaced Sarfaraz Ahmed in the game, marking Pakistan’s first use of the concussion option in Test cricket.
On the first ball of the third session on the third day, Sarfaraz was hurt. After scoring 14 runs, Sarfaraz had to retire after Asitha Fernando’s bouncer struck him in the back of the head.
Due to rain, the second day’s play in the match had to be called off early. On the second day, only 10 overs could be used. Pakistan scored 33 runs in that innings. On the second day, the captain Babar Azam (28) and Abdullah Shafiq (87) both returned undefeated.
