DAV Jaipur celebrates World Book day

World Book day was celebrated in DAV Jaipur to mark the importance of reading books and value the renowned authors who have penned incredible books and classics.

The day was observed by organising character parade of famous and favourite book characters of the children. Children dressed up as different characters from books and some even dressed as well known writers and spoke about them. Apart from this, bookmark making activity was held for the students. There was a two days long book fair for the students, teachers and parents in the school premises. The principal, Mr. Ashok Kumar Sharma encouraged the students to read as much as they could and increase their knowledge base as well as imagination and thinking abilities
