Deeply satisfying: Mahua Moitra addresses rude language in Parliament with a TMC supporter

When a TMC fan congratulated the MP for using strong words in Parliament, Mahua Moitra responded, “Deeply satisfying.”

The TMC MP’s outburst was captured on audio during her remarks during K Ram Mohan Naidu, the leader of the TDPspeech, in the Lok Sabha.

BJP leaders criticized Mahua Moitra over the event and demanded an apology from her. Pralhad Joshi, a senior member of the BJP and minister of state for parliamentary affairs, stated, “I would beg them to apologize, but if she doesn’t, then it’s their culture.”

The TMC leader, however, maintained her position and called the BJP’s attack on her “patriarchal.” She criticized the BJP, stating “If I’m a woman, how can I use such a word? Do I need to be a man to be able to respond with as much quality as possible? There is patriarchy, then.”

During the “Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address,” Mahua Moitra addressed the Adani controversy and claimed that a well-known figure with a name that begins with “A” and ends with “I” had deceived everyone. She also urged a probe into the Adani Group’s operations and the accusations made by Hindenburg Research.
