Goodbye movie: The family comedy-drama film Goodbye was written and directed by Vikas Bahl in the year 2022. It was also produced by Bahl, Viraj Savant, Ekta Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor under the names of their respective companies, Good Co, Balaji Motion Pictures, and Saraswati Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elli AvrRam, Sahil Mehta, Shivin Narang, Shayank Shukla, Abhishekh Khan, and Arun Bali all had supporting roles in the movie. Arun Bali passed away soon after the film’s debut, so this ended up being his final project.

Goodbye movie story

The main focus of the narrative is a dysfunctional family. Attorney Tara Bhagga was residing in Bengaluru with her partner Mudassar. She leaves after winning her first case to go out and party. Calls and mails from Tara’s mother Gayatri go unanswered. When her father Harish calls the same day, she learns that Gayatri has passed away. Her mother had informed her by phone.

She rushes back to Chandigarh, the city of her birth, to be with Harish. She has three brothers: Karan, Harish’s oldest son, who resides in San Francisco; Nakul, his younger son; and Angad, his adopted son, who resides in Dubai. Karan and Angad also reserve the first flight to Chandigarh. Nakul is unavailable at the moment. Tara is the first person there. She and Harish argue over the cremation rites because they have different opinions on them…
