Gurupurnima celebration in Sand dunes academy, Vivek vihar

Sand dunes academy, Vivek vihar branch celebrated its Gurupurnima day with great zest and enthusiasm. On this auspicious occasion students performed various programs commerating the importance of “Guru” in each one’s life.
The function commenced with shloka’s by Saurabh from 12th std. followed by a dance performance on the song ‘Guru’r Bramha guru’r vishnu’ from 11th std. students.
Few prominent performances were – Teachers saga expressed in the hindi n English speeches by Siya, class 10 n Manvi Yadav 5th std.
The play ‘Kaalibai’ n ‘Vardhraj’ emphasized on the importance of education n a Guru in everybody’s life respectively.
The school choir put up a soulful cheer for the Montessori children dance performance on the songs ‘Sha…la…la..la’ and ‘Tufa tufa’.
Lastly, the honorable CMD Sir; Mr.Rajesh Sharma delivered a heartfelt speech on this occasion. The function was over after presenting mementos to all the staff members as a token of appreciation n honour.
