Rainfall of a considerable amount was recorded in a number of locations, including Jhotwara, Khatipura, Bani Park, Sodala, Malviya Nagar, Tonk Phatak, and Lal Kothi.

Colonies located on the Ajmer Road and the Sikar Road also received an adequate amount of precipitation. Even after the rain stopped falling, the Walled City districts and other low-lying areas had waterlogging in the evening, and the city’s traffic remained hectic for nearly two hours after the rain stopped falling.

Because of the heavy rains and waterlogging, there was a traffic bottleneck on Sikar Road, particularly at Chomu Puliya, that lasted for more than two hours in the evening. The flooding on the roadways had a particularly negative impact on neighbourhoods such as Shastri Nagar, Pani Pech, MD Road, and other low-lying parts of Jawahar Nagar. These regions were among the most severely impacted.

Several locations around the state recorded precipitation with a depth of between 50 and 10 millimetres. Since the evening of Wednesday, extensive precipitation has been falling over the state as a result of the strengthening of the southwest monsoon.
