Jaipur | The 60th monthly seminar of “Mukt Manch” was held here under the chairmanship of Dr. Narendra Sharma Kusum, a eminent linguist, in the presence of Paramhansa Yogini Dr. Pushpalata Garg at Prakritik Yoga Sadan.

In the presidential address of the seminar on the topic ‘Inclusive Culture and Life’, Dr. Narendra Sharma Kusum said that the culture of India has been the form of human culture. In this the best part of life is included in it.

It is natural for some distortions to come in it in the changed time cycle of society. Indian culture works to connect man to man and there is a sense of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam in it.

He said that it is still nurturing compassion, friendship, non-violence, tolerance, generosity and humane qualities. It is our duty not to let our faith and belief in this culture falter and protect it with Manasa, Vacha, Karmana.

The thinker Indra Bhansali said that our culture has been strengthened by Lord Mahavir and Buddha. It was later immunized by Dr. Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi. Our culture is the oldest, whereas many cultures of the world have been destroyed. He talked about reconsidering the reservation.

Veteran satirist, poet Farooq Afridi said that our culture creates faith in the unity and integrity of the nation along with social harmony, but today due to the narrow and fundamentalist forces in the society, the voices that differentiate between caste-religion-sects are becoming vocal.

They are becoming a hindrance to keeping the country intact. The intelligent and aware people of society will have to come forward and carry on the stream of love, compassion, kindness, tolerance and harmony.

Former Indian Administrative Service officer A. R. Pathan said that in the country where inclusive culture has developed, there has been all-round development, but today different societies are being fought on the basis of divide and rule policy. This has increased the risk of backwardness of the country.

Anuvrati thinker and social worker Panchsheel Jain said that we do not get tired of praising Ganga-Jamuni culture, but on the other hand our harmony is in danger due to Hindu-Muslim dispute, misbehavior with SC, ST, backward classes. We have to take everyone along.

Dr. Satyanarayan Singh, former chairman of Dang Area Development Committee and officer of Indian Administrative Service (Retd.) said that today the meaning of inclusive culture is changing. Its new interpretation poses a crisis. Today, there is a feeling of animosity towards another caste and religion, which is a sign of danger to unity. For this, there is a need to deal strictly with the anti-national forces.

Engineer DP Chiraniya said that our method of worship may be different, but unity in diversity is our strength.

Financial expert and litterateur Rajendra Sharma said that the responsibility of removing the distortions that have come in our culture rests with the tolerant society, the intelligentsia and the government.

Convening the program, senior litterateur Shri Krishna Sharma, convener of Mukt Manch, said that there is a need to strengthen the spirit of unity in diversity and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. Disputes raised by religious contractors are temporary. They have to be defeated in front of the public.

Bhupendra Kumar Sharma, Ramesh Khandelwal also expressed their views in the seminar. IAS (Retd.) Vishnu Lal Sharma proposed vote of thanks.
