Indian Railways announces 179 special trains till Chhath Puja to meet festive demand surge

Indian Railways Special Trains List 2022: On the occasion of Diwali and Chhath, it becomes difficult to find a place to set foot in trains going towards UP and Bihar. In such a situation, the Railways has decided to run a large number of special trains to take people to their families during festivals. In order to manage the huge rush in trains, Indian Railways has decided to run festive special trains. Railways has decided to run 179 festive special trains till Chhath. These 179 pairs of trains will make 2268 trips during this period.

Confirm tickets will be available on Diwali and Chhath
Indian Railways has decided to run festival special trains during Diwali and Chhath, especially to manage heavy rush in trains going towards UP and Bihar. Railways has decided to run 179 festive special trains till Chhath. These 179 pairs of trains will make 2268 trips during this period. Railways has taken this decision with a view to provide confirmed tickets to maximum number of people during Diwali and Chhath. Apart from this, in view of Chhath, Railways has planned special trains to connect major destinations across the country on Delhi-Patna, Delhi-Bhagalpur, Delhi-Muzaffarpur, Delhi-Saharsa etc.

These special trains will be run from all zones
Explain that the Railways will run these festive special trains from all zones. Railway is divided into 15 zones. During this, maximum special trains have been given to the North Zone. Railways will run 35 festival special trains from North Zone. Let us inform that most parts of UP and Bihar are covered in the North Zone itself and along with Diwali, Chhath sees the maximum crowd of travelers in these parts.

6 pair worship special train for bihar
Railways has decided to run 06 pairs i.e. 12 Puja special trains at stations like Patna, Danapur, Samastipur etc. These Puja special trains are in addition to the 24 pairs of Puja special trains being run earlier. Explain that the operation of these trains will facilitate the passengers of UP, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.

Train No. 03281/03282 Patna-Secunderabad-Patna Puja Special: Train No. 03281 Patna-Secunderabad Puja Special train will leave Patna on every Thursday from 27 October to 10 November and will reach Secunderabad the next day. Similarly, Train No. 03282 Secunderabad – Patna Puja Special train will leave Secunderabad on every Saturday from 29 October to 12 November and reach Patna on Monday. This train will stop at Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction and other stations.

Train No. 09417/09418 Ahmedabad-Patna-Ahmedabad Puja Special: Train No. 09417 Ahmedabad-Patna Puja Special will leave Ahmedabad on every Monday from 17 October to 28 November and will reach Patna the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09418 Patna – Ahmedabad Puja Special will leave Patna on every Tuesday from 18 October to 29 November and reach Ahmedabad on Thursday. This train will stop at Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction and other stations.

Train No. 01031/01032 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Malda Town-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Puja Special: Train No. 01031 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Malda Town Puja Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on 17th & 24th October and will reach Malda Town on the second day. . Similarly, Train No. 01032 Malda Town – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Puja Special will leave Malda Town on 19th & 26th October and will reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on the second day. This train will stop at Kiul, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction stations of East Central Railway, among other stations.

Train No. 01043 / 01044 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Samastipur – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Puja Special: Train No. 01043 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Samastipur Puja Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on every Sunday and Thursday from 20th to 30th October and will reach Samastipur the next day. Similarly, Train No. 01044 Samastipur – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Puja Special train will leave Samastipur on every Monday and Friday from 21st to 31st October and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on the second day. This train will stop at Muzaffarpur, Hajipur Patliputra, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction stations of East Central Railway, besides other stations.

Train No. 01663/01664 Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal) – Danapur – Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal) Puja Special: Train No. 01663 Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal) – Danapur Puja Special will leave Rani Kamalapati (Bhopal) on 21st, 26th & 31st October and the next day. Arrival at Danapur. Similarly, Train No. 01664 Danapur – Rani Kamalapati Puja Special train will leave Danapur on 22nd, 27th October and 01st November and will reach Rani Kamalapati the next day. This train will stop at Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction stations of East Central Railway, apart from other stations.

Train No. 01705/01706 Jabalpur-Danapur-Jabalpur Puja Special: Train No. 01705 Jabalpur-Danapur Puja Special train will leave Jabalpur on 27th October and will reach Danapur the next day. Similarly, Train No. 01706 Danapur – Jabalpur Puja Special train will leave Danapur on 28 October and will reach Jabalpur the next day. This train will stop at Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction stations of East Central Railway, apart from other stations.
