After attending Satish Kaushik’s prayer meeting on Monday, Anupam Kher gave a heartfelt message for his deceased friend.

On Monday, Anupam Kher attended the prayer gathering for his late friend and fellow actor Satish Kaushik. He not only supported his family but also warned the media to stay away from speculation about the circumstances surrounding his passing. After the meeting, he posted a video and an emotional farewell message for Satish.

He included the tune Do Lafzon Ki Hai Dil Ki Kahani from The Great Gambler in the background and wrote in the genuine language the two buddies used to communicate with one another.

Anupam Kher wrote in Hindi, “Ja! “, after posting a slow-motion video of himself dousing Satish’s photo in rose petals. I am Tujhe Maaf! Go, I forgive you for leaving me alone, Mujhe Akela Chhod Kar Jaane Ke Liye! I’m sure to spot you among the laughter of others! Will, nevertheless, miss our relationship on a daily basis! Feels like I’m witnessing Uunchai movie characters in real life… Dosti zindabad (long live friendship), wrote one of his fans in response to his post. “You both are a fantastic example of friendship,” another person wrote.

At the prayer meeting, Anupam Kher could be seen going alongside Satish’s wife Shashi Kaushik while holding her daughter Vanshika’s hand. Later, he spoke with the media and stated, “Given that the man lived a decent life, I believe we should allow him to pass gracefully and refrain from speculating. He must depart in style. With today’s pooja, all of these rumours should be put to rest.”

The prayer meeting was also attended by numerous other Bollywood stars. Boney Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Vivek Agnihotri, Javed Akhtar, Jackie Shroff, and Vidya Balan were some of those present.

On March 8 in Delhi, Satish Kaushik passed away after a heart arrest a few hours after the Holi celebrations. The veteran actor and director’s heart attack was the direct cause of his unexpected death, according to the post-mortem study. In an interview with Hindustan Times a month prior to his passing, he had stated, “You need to keep oneself updated, reinvented, and current in order to keep doing good work. Only if you take care of yourself is that possible. I’m on that journey and work to stay in shape.
