India’s Jaipur (Rajasthan), January 5: The District Collector of Jaipur issued the order to prolong winter breaks in public and private schools until Saturday due to the excessive cold in the city.

In the past, the city had a winter break from December 25 to January 5. However, the holidays have been extended until January 7 due to the possibility of a cold wave and a sharp drop in temperature in the ensuing days.

Now, January 9 will mark the return of the schools.

The Office of the District Collector issued a circular outlining how teachers’ schedules and exams will proceed as usual.
