The shipment contained two unassembled IEDs with detonators, two Chinese pistols, four magazines holding 60 rounds, and Rs. 5 lakh in Rs. 500 bills, according to senior superintendent of police Abhishek Mahajan.

He told reporters that at around 6.15 am locals observed the package midway between Ramgarh and Vijaypur, perhaps five to six kilometres from the international border, and they alerted the police, according to news agency PTI.

The official added, according to ANI, “On the spot, we dialled the Bomb Disposal Squad. When the packet was opened, it was discovered to contain about Rs 5 lakhs in Indian currency, two Chinese pistols, four magazines, about 60 rounds of ammunition, a detonator, and two IEDs. We have started taking additional action.”

According to the SSP, he mentioned that the shipment was enclosed in a wooden box with a steel foundation.
