Launch of smartphones POCO X5 5G with 120Hz display and Snapdragon 695 SoC: cost and details

Along with the POCO X5 Pro’s introduction in India, the POCO X5 5G has been introduced in other countries.

The Xiaomi spin-off brand debuted the POCO X5 5G in international regions shortly after unveiling the POCO X5 Pro in India. The smartphone is a mid-range 5G gadget that was released at a price that is similar to the current average selling price of smartphones in India. The gadget has a number of competitive characteristics, but it falls short of the POCO X5 Pro, which went on sale in India on February 6th.

There have been a number of overseas markets, including the US, announced for the POCO X5 5G. A smartphone with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and another with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage have both been unveiled. The cost of each device is $249 (about Rs 20,500) and $299 (around Rs 25,000).

A 6.67-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection are available on the POCO X5 5G. It is driven by a mid-range 5G-capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC CPU. This is in contrast to the POCO X5 Pro, which is run by a Snapdragon 778G 5G processor.
