Q:  Tell us about your background

I was raised in an academic atmosphere, with my father working as a professor of economics at St. Stephen’s College in Delhi. Growing up surrounded by books and libraries in this intellectually rich environment sparked my enthusiasm for knowledge and culture. Over the past 20 years, I have dedicated myself to the study and mastery of 15 different healing modalities. My targetis to use this knowledge to improve the well-being of others and bring greater happiness to their lives.

Q:  Tell us about your contribution to the society

There are several projects that I am honored to be a part of. I am a co-founder of “SLATE”, an initiative aimed at promoting literacy among the labor population in the United Arab Emirates.I have alsohosted a wide variety of free meditation camps across the UAE and India to foster peace in those communities.

My greatest desire is to inspire physical, mental and emotional wellness in the world. To this end, I have shared my insights through motivational talks to inspire everyone from senior citizens to corporations to live their liveswith more zest and enthusiasm. I am also a huge proponent of conscious parenting and have held campaigns in schools to educate parents on that matter. All my achievements and awards can be viewed in my video and PDF profile.

Q: How did you plan to be a Mental Health Expert/Healer/Counsellor, what was the key challenge?

I was always driven by the desire to touch more souls and help them awaken to greater awareness. However, 20 years ago, the concept of healing was not well known. It was difficult for both society and my family to accept my choice of a non-academic career. The biggest challenge I faced was overcoming these societal and familial expectations.

Q:  What are your future plans and projects?

My future goal is to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and well-being on a larger scale. As society becomes more conscious, it will become more joyful. With this in mind, I aim to reach as many individuals as possible, both nationally and internationally, to promote love, joy, peace, and greater awareness.

Q: Tell us about your organisation

As the name suggests, my organization”Mandala of Light” is dedicated to spreading light and wisdom to every corner of the world. I believe that darkness represents a lack of knowledge and understanding, and that wisdom leads to inclusiveness and harmony within society. Through my organization, I hope to promote this understanding and bring greater unity to the world.
