The elected government of Delhi has administrative jurisdiction over the jails in Delhi. Everyone has seen how Satyendar Jain, a former minister, was given special treatment throughout Tihar. The government needs to exercise caution because the AAP has control over the jail and is free to take any action, according to Kapoor.
