Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Customer Deliveries Begin In India

The booking for this SUV, which was prepared in the joint venture of Suzuki and Toyota, has already been started and now the company has started its delivery on the occasion of Navratri. According to media reports, more than 50,000 units of this SUV have been booked so far, which is increasing continuously.

The Maruti Vitara is mainly causing problems for the Hyundai Creta in the market. Equipped with petrol engine and hybrid technology, the company claims that this SUV gives a mileage of up to 27.97 km. The Grand Vitara has been built on the company’s new design philosophy, which uses ample chrome along with the split headlamp cluster. This SUV is becoming very popular due to better mileage and attractive looks, and this is the reason that its waiting period has reached 5 to 6 months in some parts of the country.

The Grand Vitara is coming in a total of 6 variants and this SUV will be sold from the company’s premium NEXA showroom. Available in two powertrain options, a 1.5-litre hybrid petrol engine and a 1.5-litre dual VVT petrol engine. Transmissions include an e-CVT for the Intelligent Electric Hybrid trim and a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters or a 5-speed manual in the Progressive Smart Hybrid trim. The company claims that it gives the best mileage in the segment, its VVT petrol engine is capable of giving a mileage of 21.11 km and the hybrid variant 27.97 kmpl.

According to reports, more than 50 thousand units of this SUV have been booked. Out of which 50 percent bookings have been received for the Strong Hybrid Zeta and Alpha CVT variants, which is the top model.
