Mastermind of the Sidhu Moose Wala murder, Goldy Brar, is being held in California

Credent Tv (2 Dec 2022): On behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Satinderjit Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, a gang member living in Canada, claimed responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.

People with knowledge of the situation said on Friday that Satinderjit Singh, aka Goldy Brar, a Canadian gangster who took credit for the murder of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala in May, is believed to have been apprehended in California in the United States (US). They noted that Indian agencies were attempting to learn more about the detention but had not yet received confirmation of the arrest.

On behalf of the Indian branch of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Brar claimed responsibility for the murder. Brar, a resident of Punjab’s Mukhtsar, was the subject of an Interpol red alert because he is sought after for murder, criminal conspiracy, the supply of illegal guns, and attempted murder.

Brar recently relocated from Canada to the US, according to an official who wished to remain unnamed, and disappeared on November 20.

Brar, Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh Dala, Lakhbir Singh alias Landa, Charanjit Singh alias Bihla, Ramandeep Singh alias Raman Judge, Gurpinder Singh alias Baba Dalla, and Sukhdul Singh alias Sukha Duneke are among the Punjabi gangsters being sought by Indian authorities who are living in Canada.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA), according to the official, would speak with the US authorities through authorised channels to obtain further information and determine whether Brar’s immediate deportation to India might be pursued.

As formerly small-time gangs have grown into very large, organised syndicates that specialise in high-profile contract killings and the smuggling of drugs from Pakistan and other nations, the agency is investigating a “bigger conspiracy.” They have grenades and hazardous automatic firearms like AK-47s.

As was once seen in Mumbai in the 1990s when underworld gangs fought for territory, business operations, and influence, the gangs have threatened well-known figures and easily run their operations from inside prisons, according to a second officer who wished to remain anonymous.

Before the gangs become a big source of concern for the agencies, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has ordered a crackdown on them.

In August, the Delhi Police opened a few cases, which the NIA later took over. Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh were also the targets of raids.

Harpreet Singh, alias Happy Malaysia, the “most sought terrorist” and alleged head of the Ludhiana court bombing conspiracy, was detained on Thursday at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.

Singh, an Amritsar resident from Punjab, was carrying a 10 lakh rupee bounty. Shortly as he landed at the airport from Kuala Lumpur, the NIA detained him.

One person was killed and six others were hurt in the Ludhiana explosion. It was initially reported as a case at a police station in Ludhiana. In January, the NIA reregistered the case.

According to the NIA’s investigation, Singh, a friend of Lakhbir Singh Rode, the purported leader of the International Sikh Youth Federation who resides in Pakistan, was a conspirator in the Ludhiana blast along with Rode.

The NIA continued, “Acting on Rode’s orders, he organised the delivery of the specially built Improvised Explosive Device (IED), which had been delivered from Pakistan to his friends in India and utilised in the Ludhiana Court Complex attack.

The arrested suspect was also involved and wanted in a number of cases, including the smuggling of explosives, weapons, and drugs, according to the NIA.
