Tell us about your background?

As a self-love coach and wellbeing consultant, my focus is on helping individuals achieve optimal mental and emotional health by learning to love and care for themselves in a positive and compassionate way. To develop a great relationship with themselves.

I believe that self-love is the foundation for all other forms of love, and that when we learn to love and accept ourselves unconditionally, we can better navigate life’s challenges and cultivate more fulfilling relationships with others.

In my work, I use a variety of tools and techniques to help clients build self-awareness, develop positive self-talk, set healthy boundaries, manage stress and anxiety, and cultivate a deeper sense of self-compassion.

I draw on a range of modalities, including mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, positive psychology, holistic wellness practices like Reiki, hypnotherapy and Quantum integrated Regression therapy to create customized plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Whether through one-on-one coaching sessions, group workshops, or online courses, my aim is to empower individuals to take control of their own well-being and cultivate a greater sense of self-love and self-compassion and navigate through life with ease and grace .

Tell us about your contribution to the society

Started off as a yoga teacher in the UK.I was facilitating 7 Asana classes a week, including Pranayama and Meditation to integrate mind- body-spirit awareness. Students ranged from 8-80 years of age at Watford, UK.

Dementia affected individuals.

Also held sessions for mental health charity and Watford 3 River Trust charitable organisation who organised getting together events for seniors.

The groups had grown from zero to 100 over a period of 1.5 yrs students who regularly attended sessions

When I moved to Belgaum india I was offering yoga classes here too and had a consistent batch for 2 yrs .

In 2020 I began Reiki healing and also completed hypnotherapy course and have offered healing and coaching to around 500- 600 clients with consistent results especially to those struggling with mental health issues like depression anxiety and panic attacks. 

Besides this I have had clients reach out to me for addiction recovery, relationship issues and health related problems.

I have consistently been sharing knowledge and content regarding these issues and about self care and self love on my social media platforms which have 1000s of followers.

I have also conducted workshops on different topics and given educational talks at various forums

How did you plan to be a mental health expert/ healer/ counselor, what was the key challenge ?

From my own personal experience, I went through feelings of loneliness, depression, anxiety, and panic attacks, but I did not want to resort to medication. Fortunately, the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK offered me counseling and a brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which helped me greatly. However, I was also seeking natural remedies to heal and the universe presented me with various modalities that helped me with these issues.

Initially, I completed a Teacher training course in Yoga and then expanded my knowledge by learning Reiki and hypnotherapy. These practices brought about significant shifts and changes in my life, which inspired me to share my experiences with others in the society who were also struggling with similar challenges.

3b What was the key challenges ?

A :As a dentist by profession, not having any knowledge of healing modalities posed the greatest challenge for me. Initially, I was skeptical about the results and doubted their effectiveness. However, after experiencing remarkable shifts, my belief in these modalities grew stronger. At first, the external world reflected my inner skepticism, and I attracted clients who were also doubtful. But as my belief grew, I started to draw clients who had faith in the process, and this brought about positive changes.

Energy healing modalities are often unfamiliar to most people, as the results are intangible and require trust and belief in the process. Therefore, the first step is to create awareness and educate people about these modalities, and then onboard clients who are open to the idea.

What are your Future plans and projects –

Our next objective is to reach out to fellow healers who practice diverse modalities and work together to develop innovative services for our clients. In addition, we plan to produce informative materials and increase public knowledge about health and wellness. Furthermore, we aim to initiate a movement focused on self-love, encouraging individuals to prioritize their well-being by practicing self-care for improved physical, emotional, and mental health.

Sohum Wellness Studio is an organization dedicated to promoting holistic well-being for individuals through various practices and services. The studio offers a range of wellness programs such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and other healing modalities to help people achieve physical, emotional, and mental balance. The organization emphasizes the importance of self-care and self-awareness in achieving optimal health and encourages clients to incorporate these practices into their daily lives. 6.Tell us one thing which you feel that sets you / your organization apart from others

Answer : My superpower as a healer lies in my intuition and empathy, which guide me as I offer healing and coaching to my clients. In addition to this, I possess a variety of tools and modalities that I can choose from to effectively guide, coach, and heal my clients.
