Samajwadi Party patriarch and former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav was cremated at his ancestral residence Saifai on Tuesday. His son and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav offered fire to him. Former Union Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav died on Monday at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. He was suffering from several ailments and was admitted about a month back. On Monday evening itself, his body reached Saifai in his ancestral residence Etawah.
