Gyan Vihar School: Oath taking ceremony of Prefectural Council celebrated

Credent TV | The swearing-in ceremony of the Prefectural Council at Gyan Vihar School, Malviya Nagar, D Block, concluded with great gaiety.

On this occasion, first of all, by offering flowers to Mother Saraswati, Principal Rakesh Upadhyay wore badges and sash to Head Boy Rajat Gelani to Deputy Headboy Kshitij Shandilya and senior teacher Renu Shabdmukhar donned sashes and badges to head girl Purvi Malhotra and deputy head girl Prarthana Kumari.

The program began with a melodious and inspiring rendition of the school anthem, which was followed by a spectacular march past by the four houses.

Thereafter, the remaining members of the Council, Cultural Secretaries Disha Thawani, Yash and Harshita Sethi and Sports Captains Pranay Chaturvedi and Akshita were appointed to the services of the four House Socrates, Gandhi, Buddha, Zoroaster by the Masters wearing sash and badges on their eligible posts.

On this occasion, Principal Rakesh Upadhyay, while congratulating the constituted executive, explained their responsibility to them through an inspirational story.

Head boys Rajat Gelani and Purvi Singh administered oath to the office bearers of the student council and other members that they would maintain their loyalty to the school.
