Together, they scored 127 runs in 220 balls for the fifth wicket. Blended scored
58 off 110 balls, and Bracewell scored 65 off 110 balls in this partnership.
In addition to these two, Tom Latham and Kane Williamson each scored 62 runs.
Naseem Shah, Hamza Mir, Abrar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, and Agha Salman each
claimed one wicket for Pakistan.

In the first session of the day, Pakistan’s first innings came to a close with 408
runs. When Abrar Ahmed was struck by Sodhi on zero on the third day,
unbeaten Saud Shakeel (125) had only added one run to his total. For the Kiwis,
Ejaz Patel and Ish Sodhi both claimed three wickets. Daryl Mitchell, Matt Henry,
and Tim Southee each secured one wicket.
