Prez Murmu leaves today on a two-day trip to Rajasthan

Jaipur, January 3: Starting on Tuesday, President Droupadi Murmu will travel to Rajasthan for two days.

She will officially open the Constitution Park that was constructed at the Jaipur Raj Bhavan.

According to the schedule, the President will arrive at Jaipur Airport on Tuesday aboard a special Army aircraft. She will next travel to Raj Bhavan in the Civil Lines to officially open the Constitution Park that has been constructed there.

She will take part in a variety of events on Tuesday at Mount Abu and Jaipur. She will also go to Pali for the Scout-Guide National Jamboree.

Public access to the Constitution Park located inside the Raj Bhavan will be available two days each week. There will be 50/50 visits to this park. This park was constructed for approximately Rs 9.15 crore.

In the park, there are statues of people who were influential in creating the Constitution. In addition, visitors will receive audio-visual information on Constitution Park.

The centrepiece of the park’s major draw is a 10-by-12-foot gunmetal monument of Mahatma Gandhi pulling a charkha. Here is also home to a marble statue of Maharana Pratap and his mount, “Chetak,” which honours the valour and sacrifice of the heroic warriors of Rajasthan for their country.

On January 3, afternoon, the President will board a special Army chopper for Mount Abu, where she will serve as the chief guest at Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya’s programme.

The President will spend the night in Abu before travelling the next day to Jodhpur, where she will join the National Scout and Guide Jamboree at Rohat in Pali.
