The dog, Luna, traveled with Rahul Gandhi and other party members on Friday for the Bharat Jodo Yatra, a Congress party gimmick with no clear goals or objectives that is probably an attempt to present the Gandhi scion as a potential candidate for prime minister in the 2024 general elections. Many social media users compared the dog to Pidi, Rahul Gandhi’s pet, who gained attention after Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma claimed that many regional Congress leaders consumed biscuits from the same plate as the dog, underscoring the Gandhi scion’s indifference and lack of interest in issues brought up by his party leaders.
