A rape accused was arrested by the Panchori police station of Nagaur. The accused was also accused of making the victim’s video viral. Panchori police station presented the accused in the court, from where the POCSO court of Nagaur has sentenced the accused to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment. Apart from this, he has been punished with a fine of 1 lakh 30 thousand.

The complainant had given the report on 5 February 2021 at Panchauri police station. It was told in that report that his daughter had gone near the road to fetch wood. Meanwhile, accused Purkharam came with a jeep and asked the minor to accompany him, but the girl refused. On this, the accused forcibly put the minor girl in the car and raped her by taking her to a secluded place.

On the report of the complainant, the police arrested the accused two days ago and presented him in the POCSO court. After which the court has punished the accused with 20 years rigorous imprisonment and fine.
