Ranbir Kapoor, a current actor in the Bollywood film Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar, described what happens when he and his actress-wife Alia Bhatt argue or quarrel. Ranbir, who believes in providing space after a quarrel, claims that Alia won’t let go till she makes her point.

If there is a fight, I can simply kind of take some distance, Ranbir stated in an interview with Kareena Kapoor Khan for Mirchi Plus. Alia is a lawyer, thus if she feels that she was wronged, she will not relinquish her position until she has made her point. And I am the guy who lacks both self-respect and ego. I am extremely happy to apologise, whether I am right or wrong. Nonetheless, I appreciate the idea of space.

The actor added that people occasionally speak under pressure. In an argument between a couple, he said, “Many things are said for effect and you don’t truly mean it. The other person believes that you are emanating from somewhere, in the meantime. Hence, if that person retains those three to four words, you must clarify it. Thus, it always appears in the heat of the moment.

In April 2022, Alia and Ranbir exchanged wedding vows. Raha, the couple’s daughter, was born in November 2022. Ranbir’s next acting role will be opposite Rashmika Mandanna in the movie Animal. Alia will next be seen with Ranveer Singh in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
