Republic Day is one of the most important national events in India. It is celebrated every year on January 26th and marks the adoption of the Constitution of India, which came into effect on this day in 1950

The day is not only a commemoration of India becoming a republic but also a celebration of the ideals of justice, liberty and equality which our freedom fighters and makers of the constitution stood by.

DAV Centenary Public School ,Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, celebrated the 75th Republic Day with grandeur and excitement. The school building was decorated with flowerpots, pictures of heroes of the freedom movement, and national flags. The celebration commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by our honourable Principal, Mr. AK Sharma, followed by the singing of the national anthem.

Our supervisory heads, Mr Vipin Kumar Sharma and Mrs Manju Yadav honoured  our Principal, Mr A.K.Sharmaji. The teachers showcased their patriotism and pride for the nation by reciting heart touching patriotic songs and performing dances.

On the auspicious occasion of Republic day, the school took pride in felicitating one of our NCC Cadet Harshita Chauhan of IX A who attended EBSB camp (Ek bharat Shreshtha Bharat) from 23 December 2023 to 3 January 2024. She is a very bright student of our school. Apart from academics she is good in dance and drawing and painting too. Her aim is to become an IPS officer in life.
