Roadshow By The PM Narendra Modi In Delhi Before Huge BJP Meeting

PM Modi, the prime minister, will lead a massive roadshow for the BJP in the nation’s capital on Monday. The BJP’s two-day national executive meeting will begin today at the NDMC Convention Center.

JP Nadda, the national head of the BJP, will attend the event along with other prominent party figures and Union ministers, including Home Minister Amit Shah. A roadshow led by Prime Minister Modi will travel from Patel Chowk to Parliament Street. The roadshow was originally scheduled for Tuesday until the party’s itinerary changed.Parts of Delhi’s vehicular traffic are likely to be affected, although special traffic measures have been made to ensure a smooth flow of traffic, according to the Delhi Police.

This is the party’s first significant gathering since its resounding victory in Gujarat. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi organised a massive road show in his native Gujarat that covered more than 50 kilometres in more than five hours.

“On January 16 starting at 3 pm, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) will host a road show on Sansad Marg from Patel Chowk to Sansad Marg-Jai Singh Road Junction. The Indian Prime Minister will attend the aforementioned road show. The following roads will be closed on January 16 from 2:30 pm to 5 pm: Ashoka Road (Windsor Place to Jai Singh Road GPO Both Carriageways), Sansad Marg, Tolstoy Road (Janpath to Sansad Marg), Rafi Marg (Rail Bhawan to Sansad Marg), Jantar Mantar Road, Imtiaz Khan Marg, and Bangla Sahib Lane.

Additionally, according to the Delhi Police, there will likely be heavy traffic during the roadshow on Baba Kharak Singh Road, Outer Circle Connaught Place, Park Street/Shankar Road, Minto Road, Mandir Marg, Barakhamba Road, Panchkuain Road, Raisina Road, Tolstoy Road, Janpath, Firozeshah Road, Rafi Marg, Rani Jhansi Road, DBG Road, Chelmsford Road, Bhai Ve At the intersections of Gol Dak Khana, Gurdwara Rakab Ganj, Windsor, Rail Bhawan, Outer CC and Sansad Marg, Raisina Road and Jantar Mantar Road, Janpath and Tolstoy Road, and Tolstoy Road and KG Marg, traffic would be detoured.

The above-mentioned roads, sections, and places that the roadshow will cover are prohibited, according to Delhi Police.

The two-day executive conference will feature a giant exhibition at the NDMC Convention Center centred on six different themes, including Good Governance First, Inclusive and Empowered India, and Vishwa Guru Bharat.

The party’s national office holders, state unit presidents, and various organisational secretaries will gather at the BJP headquarters prior to the national executive.
