Samantha recently attended the London premiere of the original American TV series, which starred Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. Samantha will appear in the Indian spin-off of Citadel alongside Varun Dhawan. The Family Man 2 actress talked to the media about having a significant role in the spy thriller while interacting with them on the red carpet at the event. However, Samantha’s accent drew the attention of online users.

There is a video online of Samantha discussing her involvement in Citadel with the media. However, her accent has drawn conflicting responses on social media.

Varun Dhawan and Samantha can be seen discussing their roles in the Indian adaptation of Citadel in the video. “I adore her a lot but the way she is faking her accent,” one fan tweeted. She ought to have solely used an Indian accent. Another said the footage made them “cringe.”
