A government school teacher has been charged with molesting two female students

On Saturday, a government school teacher in Jaipur was charged under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act for allegedly inappropriately touching two of his students at school. A 17-year-old female student filed a complaint against him, prompting the move.
While the complainant is a class 12 student at the school, her female cousin is a class 10 student. “According to the 17-year-old girl’s complaint, the accused, who teaches Geography at the school, inappropriately touched her on Friday,” a police official said.

According to the girl’s complaint, the Teacher misbehaved with her during the school’s practical examinations. “She stated that the accused asked her to keep quiet about the matter because he is married and would face complications,” the official added.
