Punjab Police kills 2 suspects in Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, 3 cops injured

Credent TV | In a firefight with police near Amritsar, two criminals who were suspected of being involved in the murder of singer Sidhu Moose Wala were killed. In addition, three police officers were hurt. Then, Manpreet Singh, alias Mannu Kussa, continued to fire for approximately an hour until he was killed at about 4 p.m. in a gunfight that lasted more than four hours, authorities said.

At the conclusion of the confrontation that took place in the hamlet of Bhakna, located twenty kilometres from Amritsar, State Police Chief Gaurav Yadav had also arrived at the scene. How the whole incident happened

The task team had been following the two individuals for a while before to the incident, which took place about midday. They were one of three gunmen who had managed to get away from the scene. Despite the fact that these two were found, Deepak Mundi has not been found as of yet. The remaining suspects—there were at least eight shooters—have all been taken into custody.

Who is Sidhu Moose Wala

On May 29, 2018, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known by his stage name Sidhu Moose Wala, age 28, who was a Congress politician in addition to being a singer-songwriter and rapper, was killed in the area of his village Moosa in the district of Mansa in the Indian state of Punjab.

According to sources inside the police department, Mannu Kussa was the one who opened fire on Moose Wala using an AK-47 weapon.

Who was the mastermind behind the murder

Punjabi, Delhi, and Mumbai police are all working together to investigate. It is believed that a Canadian man named Satinderjit Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, was the mastermind behind the murder. He worked in conjunction with a mobster named Lawrence Bishnoi, who was already doing time in the Tihar Jail in Delhi.

Goldy Brar is being investigated for making statements on Facebook in which he is said to have claimed responsibility for the murder. According to the tweets, it was an act of retaliation for the killing of an Akali leader named Vicky Middukhera the previous year. Since then, Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice in an effort to locate Goldy Brar in connection with two further cases that have been recorded in Faridkot in the Indian state of Punjab.

Since the murder took occurred only one day after Sidhu Moose Wala’s protection was reduced to to two officers as part of a bigger effort to combat “VIP culture,” the AAP administration in Punjab, which is run by Bhagwant Mann, has also been called into question in light of the incident. When the musician was assaulted, however, he was not utilising his bulletproof vehicle and neither of the two police officers that he had brought with him were there.
