Tata Motors has announced, its new SUV Punch
Tata Motors has announced a one-off variant of its new SUV Punch, which will be introduced in the upcoming IPL 2022 tournament. The carmaker has shared videos and pictures of the new Kaziranga variant of the punch. This vehicle is inspired by the one-horned rhinoceros found in the Kaziranga National Park of Assam. Tata Motors is the official sponsor of this year’s IPL (Indian Premier League).
Tata Punch Colours
The company will produce the one-off punch, which is likely to be based on the top-spec Creative trim. According to the stock photos, the special variant of Tata Punch may come with great color options, however, the exterior look and design of this car looks like the regular model of Tata Punch. Some cosmetic changes can be seen in this. The Special Edition variant of the Tata Punch comes with a special Rhino badge, which is placed inside the rear windscreen and glovebox.
Tata Punch Price
The starting price of this car is 5.64 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the ex-showroom price of its top model goes up to Rs 8.98 lakhs. It is one of the safest SUVs on Indian roads after the Punch got a five star rating in crash tests conducted by Global NCAP last year.
Tata Punch Engine
Engine of the car will be 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that is capable of producing 85bhp at 6000rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 3300rpm. Coming to the gearbox, it is not known whether the engine will come with a manual or automatic gearbox in this special edition model.
