BJP, MCD House

A day after the MCD House altercation that resulted in the injury of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) councillor, the BJP posted a banner on social media accusing Atishi of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of organising the entire incident.

The BJP tweeted a picture of the billboard that included Atishi with the caption, “AAP’s villainess, who caused the MCD house brawl.” The incident is referred to as the most horrific drama of 2023 on the poster that features images of Atishi and BJP council members. It claims that Atishi played the villain in a movie made by the AAP and directed by party leader Arvind Kejriwal.

Police have reported that although the BJP and the AAP have both filed charges against the other, no FIR has been made.As Mayor Shelly Oberoi invalidated one vote in the crucial election for a six-member municipal committee on Friday, there was a brawl between BJP and AAP members inside the MCD House. Members kicked, punched, and shoved one another while shouting.

She claimed that the mayor was forced to flee the House.”It’s a bad day today. The House had a bad day today due to constitutional mockery. We called the Bharatiya Janata Party council members and inquired about their requests, and we completed the reelection process, but they continued to attack me “Oberoi informed the press.

The mayor announced that the Standing Committee, the highest decision-making body of the MCD, will be reelected on February 27 after all ballots were ripped. The incident that required the mayor to adjourn the House was blamed on both the BJPand the AAP.

Council members from both parties can be seen punching each other in one video while throwing water bottles and apples at one another in the House. A few council members could be seen with their kurtas torn, while other BJP members waved banners with slogans like “Tanashahi nahin chalegi.”
