Theft at the Jaipur home of MP Hanuman Beniwal; 3 arrested

After a theft was reported at the Jaipur home of Hanuman Beniwal, convener of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) and a Nagaur MP, the Jaipur police detained three children on Friday. In the early hours of Friday, the theft was reported.

The RLP founder last visited his home on December 25 and left the following day, according to the police complaint. However, the office and apartment had been broken into when some of his colleagues arrived at the government quarters on Thursday around 10 p.m.

Beniwal announced on Twitter that he had discovered a theft at his official residence in Jaipur, Jaipur, “today.” I went to the location as soon as I learned about the occurrence, spoke with the Home Secretary, and gave him all the information.

“The state’s law and order situation has deteriorated, and thieves and criminals are acting irrationally,” he claimed.

The burglars allegedly stole cash totaling Rs. 1.5 lakh, two sets of silver cutlery, two gold bands, four gold bangles, a silver water bottle that served as the party’s emblem, a silver crown, 50 silver coins, two watches, five blankets, five mattresses, four quilts, and even kitchen utensils.

The police investigated “hundreds” of CCTV cameras to identify the suspect, according to Paris Deshmukh, DCP (Jaipur North), and detained three children “within 24 hours” after the FIR. He claimed that while efforts are being made to apprehend additional suspects, the police have also partially recovered the stolen goods from them.
