Jaipur: On Saturday, near Kalwar Road, unidentified burglars broke in and set on fire an empty home before fleeing with valuables. The owner of the home was an employee of Jaipur Municipal Corporation.
The home is owned by one Pratap Singh, claims sub-inspector Rameshwar Singh of the Kalwar police station. “The victim is employed by the Jaipur Municipal Corporation. Since July 18, he had been residing at a relative’s home, the official said.
Singh claims that the victim’s neighbours found out that his home was on fire. He was informed, and he came this morning to investigate the house’s wreckage.
According to the authorities, the accused had unlocked the doors to the residence before breaking in. “The house’s two rooms were burned down. Before running away, the accused took a few things, the officer said.
The fire may have also been intentionally set, according to the authorities. “We’re attempting to determine if there was any hostility behind the event.
We are considering it as a case of theft as well, Rameshwar Singh added, although the complainant has also claimed that some of the belongings from his residence are gone.
According to the Kalwar police, they have filed a FIR in the matter and are working to apprehend the suspects by using scientific inquiry to identify them.
