Rishabh Pant will be transferred to Mumbai for additional medical care

Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) director Shyam Sundar has announced that India’s star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant will be flown to Mumbai today, or on January 4, for additional medical care.

When Pant, 25, was traveling from Delhi to Rourke, he had a terrible car accident, but he managed to survive. He had lost control of the NH-58 and hit a divider. According to sources in the BCCI, Pant will receive in-depth treatment for his ligament injuries in the knee and ankle after moving to Mumbai.

Under the condition of anonymity, a senior BCCI source told PTI, “To diagnose and treat Rishabh’s ligament injuries and determine the best next steps, he is being transported to Mumbai. He is anticipated to be under the direction of renowned sports orthopaedist Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, who has been appointed by the BCCI. If surgery is recommended, a call will be taken to determine whether it will take place in the UK or the USA.”

According to an HT report, eight to ten-speed cameras were monitored from the UP border to the accident site in Narsan, and it was discovered that the cricketer did not exceed the speed limit. This was according to the senior superintendent of police for Haridwar, Ajai Singh.

The cricketer’s car appeared to be traveling at a high speed in the CCTV footage of the collision that was making its way online. According to Singh, the car appeared to be traveling quickly because it was thrown into the air after colliding with the divider. The technical team examined the accident scene, and he continued but found no evidence of overspeeding.

“Uttarakhand government will honor the driver and the operator of Haryana Roadways, who saved the life of cricketer Rishabh Pant on January 26,” Dhami said.

Added, “In order to save Rishabh Pant’s life, the driver and operator put their own lives in danger. They witnessed the Cricketer’s car roll a few times in front of them (after hitting a divider and going up in flames on the Delhi-Dehradun highway). The employees of Haryana Roadways demonstrated their tenacity by handling the emergency.”

The 25-year-old, who was seriously hurt in a car accident on his way to surprise his mother on December 30 near Roorkee, received full support from the state government, according to CM Dhami’s announcement.
