TOEFL has been cut by an hour since July, and there are now real-time updates on score status

TOEFL, administered by ETS, is accepted by over 10,000 institutions in over 150 countries and is universally accepted in popular destinations such as the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as by over 98% of universities in the United Kingdom.

New Delhi:- According to Educational Testing Services, the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) will now take less than two hours to complete rather than three hours, and candidates will be able to see their official score release date after finishing the test. (ETS).

In order to provide the best possible experience for test takers, ETS, which administers the TOEFL and Graduate Record Examinations (GRE), today announced a number of changes to the English language proficiency test. The modifications will take effect on July 26.

More than 10,000 institutions across 150 nations accept TOEFL, and it is accepted without exception in well-known locations like the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as by more than 98% of universities in the United Kingdom.

The “independent writing task” will be replaced by the “writing for an academic discussion,” per ETS, while the reading section will be cut in half. Additionally, all unanswered questions will be eliminated from the test.

After finishing the test, test-takers will be shown the date on which their official scores will be released. They will also be notified in real-time if their score status changes.

“ETS is leading the way in product innovations for education and learning, and TOEFL is a key component of that effort. With these updates, TOEFL’s position as the industry standard, which it has been for almost 60 years, is further cemented. Most importantly, these improvements were made with our customers and stakeholders in mind, according to ETS CEO Amit Sevak.

The registration process has been made simpler, and test prices will now be offered for the first time in Indian rupees, according to Mr. Sevak.

Beginning in July 2023, a more straightforward registration process will be made available. More quickly and easily than ever before, test takers can create an account and sign up for a TOEFL iBT test date, according to him.
