Earth Day Celebrated at Tree House High School

To remind the students of their duties towards Mother Nature, a  myriad of activities were conducted in Tree House High School, Shyam Nagar, Jaipur. Fancy dress competition was conducted for Pre-primary students where they dressed up themselves in the attire of natural elements. Students of classes I to X participated in ‘Best out of waste’ competition organized beautifully and creatively by teachers. Students also made paper cut-outs of hands saving the earth. Most prominent was a big earth made by students and the chart work displaying ‘Every Day, Earth Day’.

Special Assembly was conducted in the morning where students presented the current scenario of Earth and the cruel face of humans destroying the planet. Students, alongwith the Principal, Mrs. Sarita Sharma, took the oath on Earth Day to protect the earth from pollution and abuse. She added the finishing touch by addressing the students emphasizing the importance of afforestation, planting of trees and the need for everyone to put together their efforts and get into action, in protecting our environment.
