Even five days ago, the service was down.

This is not the first time that Twitter has been unavailable. That happened after 10 pm five days ago when Twitter’s service was down. Users were then unable to update posts or view direct messages.

200 workers were let go from the firm on Saturday.

On Saturday night, Twitter laid off around 200 staff. This represents 10% of Twitter’s workforce of about 2,000 people. In October, Elon Musk purchased the social networking platform. More than half of the approximately 7,500 employees have been laid off since then.

With the purpose of decreasing costs, more than half of the staff were let go. Musk had stated, “When the firm is losing $4 million (Rs 32.77 crore) everyday, we have no choice but to lay off staff,” following the downsizing.

In some nations, Musk has introduced the $8 Twitter Blue membership service. They will lose their confirmed checkmark if they choose not to purchase it. This service is now available in India for a monthly fee of Rs 900 for mobile users and Rs 650 for online users.

3 reasons to move to subscription mode

1. The corporation is losing 32 crores per day. Under the new approach, they want to enhance income.

2. Musk paid $44 billion to acquire Twitter. They intend to atone for it quickly.

3. Twitter owes a lot of money. They do not want to depend on sponsors to put an end to it.
