When YS Sharmila was arrested, Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad received her

Credent Tv: Since Friday am, Sharmila has been fasting in protest against the TRS government.

Hyderabad: Late on Saturday night, Telangana YSRTP head YS Sharmila, who is on a hunger strike, was taken into custody and sent to the Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills.

Since Friday am, Sharmila has been fasting in retaliation for the TRS administration’s denial of her request to hold her Praja Prasthanam Padayatra.

Sharmila’s health is currently stable, according to the physicians at Apollo Hospital.

Sharmila expressed concern over dehydration, which could result in an electrolyte imbalance strong enough to endanger her kidneys, and doctors from Apollo Hospital had reported that her blood pressure and glucose levels had dropped to alarmingly low levels.

Sharmila claimed earlier on Friday that despite obtaining the court’s approval, the police were preventing her from continuing a “padayatra” (foot march).

She had stated that she was on a hunger strike and requesting both the protection of democracy in Telangana and the right to continue her padayatra.

She further claimed that her bus had been set on fire and that her supporters had been beaten in order to put an end to her foot march.

KCR is making every effort to halt my padayatra. They beat up my people, set fire to my bus, and accused me of using violence. They later detained me and sent me to Hyderabad. The court had given me permission to continue my foot march the day after, but the cops are now refusing to let me,” she had added.

On November 29, YS Sharmila’s SUV, which the TRS is believed to have vandalised, was towed and detained by Panjagutta Police while she was inside. She was arrested and eventually brought before a magistrate on several accusations, including stealing, criminal intimidation, and public nuisance.

When she attempted to enter Pragati Bhavan, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s official house, she was stopped at Somajiguda. She was then taken to the Hyderabad police station in SR Nagar.

Sharmila was seated inside her car protesting against the Telangana CM KCR when police used a crane to pull it away before she was arrested.

The police allegedly forcedfully busted open the car door to extricate her after transporting her to SR Nagar Police Station. After that, she and a few of her supporters were escorted to the police station. (ANI)
