The claims that India would play Pakistan in Bangladesh during the ODI World Cup, which will take place in October and November, have been refuted. These assertions have been refuted by BCCI sources following the International Cricket Council. Additionally, the Bangladesh Cricket Board officials are in the dark about this. In fact, the ODI World Cup match between Pakistan and Bangladesh could take place in Bangladesh, according to the cricket website ESPN Cricinfo, which quoted Wasim Khan, the general manager of Pakistan in the ICC.

Following this assertion, sources from the ICC and BCCI told Cricbuzz and the news agency PIT that nothing similar would occur. Only India will host all of the World Cup matches.

Team India will play a total of 6 matches in the tournament if they make it to the finals as well. If India advances to the final, that game will also be moved to a neutral site.

There will be 48 matches played during the 46-day tournament, including three knockout rounds. The World Cup this year will feature 10 teams.
