World Health Day: Celebrating a Healthy Life style

World Health Day is a Global Health awareness day, celebrated on 7th April. This day is observed to make the founding of WHO.
Jaipur :- Various activities were organized in DAV Centenary Public School, Jaipur to highlight the significance of good health and wellbeing. This World Health Day, the young leaders of tomorrow extended their support towards propagating the message of universal healthcare for all by organising a special assembly. The students spoke about how one can ensure a healthy lifestyle by adopting simple measures like balanced diet, exercise and proper sleep. A beautiful group song on health awareness was presented by the school choir. There were several activities pursued in the class to reiterate the importance of good habits and a healthy lifestyle. Students were sensitized to remain healthy by eating nutritious food, fruits and vegetables. They were made aware about the importance of physical Exercises by doing Yoga, Aerobics etc. to remain fit and active. Awareness videos were also shown in the school auditorium. The students enthusiastically participated in poster making activity, talks and sharing awareness messages. The school Principal Mr. A.K. Sharma apprised the students about following a healthy lifestyle, emphasising on good eating habits and the importance of sports & exercise in our daily lives.
