Yamaha Organises ‘The Call of the Blue’ Track Day At Buddh International Circuit

India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt Ltd, under the brand campaign ‘The Call of the Blue’ organized a special track day event for its customers on Saturday at the Buddha International Circuit in Greater Noida. This is the company’s third track day event after Track Day at Madras Motor Racetrack in Chennai and Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore.

This special ride was organized to give the customers the experience of riding on the race track with their Yamaha products. This helped him understand several parameters like lean angles, high speed cornering, braking and body movement. The customers also got to know the quick shifter, traction control system of YZF-R15V4 and YZF-R15M which proved to be the most effective features in terms of high speed straight lines and corner exit. Overall, Track Day gave Yamaha customers an opportunity to experience the true potential of their models, while also discovering the difference between riding on racetracks off public roads.

Another major highlight of the event was the ‘The Call of the Blue Weekend’ event. It was an event organized to enhance customer engagement activity, in which Yamaha organized exciting activities like Drag Race, Gymkhana Ride and Slow Speed ​​Balancing. To further add to the enthusiasm of the customers, arrangements were also made for test rides of Yamaha R1 and MT-09 superbikes, display of Yamaha product range and accessories and apparel zones. Another highlight of the event was the Styling Zone, in which customers participated in a variety of face painting and tattoo art. Monster Energy, Yamaha’s Official MotoGP Partner, made sure you feel refreshed watching the exciting, stylish and sporty models of Yamaha in action on the racetrack.

The event was attended by over 2000 Yamaha fans. A total of 400 customers from YZF-R3, YZF-R15, MT-15, FZ range and AEROX 155 took part in the track ride. The track day event is one of the various platforms devised by Yamaha to build its global image as an exciting brand with a strong racing heritage, giving customers a sense of pride and belonging.
